Cake Information
We offer bespoke cake design service for something to suit your theme or we can work with a design you have fallen in love with. However we do not guarantee to match a design 100%. We do reserve the right to change the design at any point, if the circumstances comprise the quality of the design.
Amendments to your order will be considered and amended if possible but a fee may apply.
Amendments to your collection/delivery time will be considered and amended if possible.
Wedding taster samples are available on consultation subject to availability.
Allergies
We do provide gluten, dairy, egg & nut free cake but these are made in the same kitchen, using the same equipment as our normal cakes. The equipment is thoroughly cleaned and the goods are made separately. We do our absolute best to ensure that our free from food is not cross contaminated but we cannot guarantee that the products we use, have not been manufactured in a factory that may contain other allergen ingredients.
Booking Information
A non refundable retainer is needed with in 7 days of order, with out this your order is not guaranteed. The balance of your order is due up to 6 weeks before collection/delivery depending on the goods total.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, paypal or cash. Cheques are no longer received.
Once your order is collected the goods transfer to your responsibility. Please transport your order in a foot well or boot of the car on a flat service.
The best place to store your cake is in a cool place out of direct sunlight and heat, not in the fridge, unless stated on collection
We have a range of cake stand that can be hires for your cake orders. A small security deposit is needed and is returned when the stand is returned undamaged back to us.
If there is inedible items on your cake orders you will be informed of this on placing your order.
Portion Guide
Along with traditional round and square, we also use heart hexagon, petal and pillow shaped cake tins, from 4" to 14".
Catering Information
When is the food made?
Buffets/hog roast/BBQ's are freshly prepared on the day we deliver to you. Afternoon tea is prepared the day before.
Our guests have allergies, can you still cater for them?
Yes we can offer alternatives for guests with allergies, but please be aware that our kitchen is used to prepare food with nuts, gluten, dairy, celery and soya on a regular basis.
All of our staff have been trained by the food standards agency for the new 2022 food allergy rules and regulations.
How long can I leave the food out for?
All food can be left uncovered and un- refrigerated for 4 hours maximum, after which time it must be discarded. During very hot weather periods this is reduced to 2 hours.
I'm having a BBQ or hog roast what happens if it rains?
We can still cook and serve even in the rain as we have gazebos for us to cook and serve from, and can keep everything dry.
How is the food delivered ?
All our food is delivered wrapped and garnished on fresh reusable buffet trays, these will need to be returned to us unwashed within a week of the event.
Do I need plates and napkins?
Yes for small buffets but we can provide these for you at a small cost. In other catering china or porcelain plates and cutlery is provided.
Wedding Cake Information
Does my price include delivery and set up?
Yes it does. We will contact your venue the week of the wedding to organise our arrival time. We will set up the cake in the place it will be cut for the photos.
We do recommend that no wedding cake is on display in direct sunlight and in hot summer months, should be in an air conditioned room. We reserve the right to refuse set up of a wedding cake if the room is not at a suitable temperature, table is unstable, location is unsuitable etc. We will always make sure that your wedding cake is placed at the venue to keep it in the same condition we delivered it in.
Do you provide stands?
Yes we do. We have a range of different design depending on what style wedding cake you are having. Stands are free to hire but do require a security deposit, which is returned when the stand is returned undamaged.
I'm having a naked cake, will it dry out?
Naked wedding cakes do have a shorter shelf life than a fondant cake, but we will deliver the cake as close to the wedding time as possible to make sure it out on display for the least time possible.
Can I have fresh flowers to match my bouquet?
Yes we can provide fresh flowers but not all are suitable to be on a cake as they can be poisonous. We will work with you to make sure the flowers fit in with your theme
Terms of Service
Severability
All rights and restrictions contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Agreement illegal, invalid or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.
Dispute resolution
The formation, interpretation, and performance of this Agreement and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom without regard to its rules on conflicts or choice of law and, to the extent applicable, the laws of United Kingdom. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the state and federal courts located in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its policies relating to the Website or Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Website. When we do we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
Acceptance of these terms
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. By using the Website or its Services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Website and its Services.
