Schools out

It’s the summer holidays and a boiling hot 30 degrees today which is not good for fondant I can tell you. I think I will get the pool out tomorrow and chill out with a cold drink before my busy week next week. I had an order recently from an existing customer who said I was to get all his future cake orders as my fruit cake was so good, he even ordered a bigger cake so everyone could have two slices. It's now July

I had a great day at St Neots wedding fayre and met lots of soon to be brides and some lovely stall holders, was a long day but hopefully worth it. Back to the paper work today and more baking tommorow then a photo shoot on thursday which will be exciting, more details to come soon.

I will be going to Caldecote feast again on saturday and I hope the weather will be better as last year I got very wet, but looking at the weather at the moment I think it could be the same.
